Sloooow updates

Been stressing out about artwork and ideas. Now and again, though, I make an effort to get out of my comfort zone, even with off results. XD Let's see what I have here...uhhh...here!

 I'm disappointed in my attempt to draw faces from imagination. But they look better now than they used to! Yaaaay! :D

I don't remember if I showed this...2-hour practice with ink, though!

Ella Benz

Main character for a video game concept I made at Dalhousie University! What fun that was, and I didn't forget about that game idea...I'd LOVE to do it someday. :D I used Prismacolor markers for this, and I am working on figuring out how to ink better on paper. I'll get it one day!

A face and...an umbrella

Showing a couple of things! ^_^ Something 3D and something in Photoshop. Both I just DID from my head. :D

I wanted to add more to this one, but I couldn't think of more. I'll try making an island or something next time! I made a little recipe for making the umbrella. Did this in Blender!

Still working on this one. :D I plan to complete it! She's rather pretty.

Some 3D

Well, I have done less drawing lately (not feelin' it), so I decided to do something else so I won't feel guilty while this phase goes on.

I love working in Blender, and making 3D models was something I wanted to do anyway. So for NOW, here is a very short 3D animation of a jelly cube that I made! I followed a tutorial, and learned how to use Indirect Lighting to make the cube glow oh so nicely!

Warm Wednesday with a Cup

For a value study yesterday, I tried copying a cup and getting the values of light and shadow correct. It's a tough one, a new challenge! My accuracy needs work, but I'm glad I can understand a little more about values. Phew! Hot tonight, must flee and lay down.
